Josh Berry won by more than seven seconds. It wasn't even close. For the second year in a row he gets his Wood Brothers Racing Ford into the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray.
For the final transfer spot, AJ Allmendinger, Corey LaJoie, and Austin Cindric battled the last 10 laps. LaJoie and Cindric about switched numbers they were rubbing doors with each other so much.
With one last, valiant effort, Allmendinger delivered a huge bump to the back of Cindric's No. 2 Ford. It didn't disrupt the Team Penske driver as much as it gave him a boost to take P2 over LaJoie.
Alex Bowman takes the Owner's Points provisional for the 23rd spot in the race. He was in the back and protected his car in the Last Chance Qualifier. Josh Berry will start P21 with Austin Cindric starting P22.
