Corey Heim fastest in NASCAR Truck Series practice at Nashville, will start race from pole

Corey Heim's quest for a fifth win in the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season is off to an excellent start.

Heim, who has won four of the 11 Truck Series races so far this season, was fastest in practice on Friday afternoon, laying down a best lap of 30.059 seconds.

Heim won the most recent Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 23.

Defending Truck Series champion Ty Majeski was second-fastest in the session, with Rajah Caruth, Luke Fenhaus and Chandler Smith rounding out the top five. Layne Riggs, Jake Garcia, Andres Perez, Gio Ruggiero and Daniel Hemric completed the top 10.

Other notable practice results include Kyle Busch in 11th, Grant Enfinger in 16th, Matt Crafton in 17th, Ben Rhodes in 22nd and Toni Breidinger in 30th.

Heim won't just have a fast truck when the green flag flies on Friday evening. While qualifying was canceled due to inclement weather, the lineup was set by the rulebook, giving Heim the pole position as he searches for his first Nashville win.

Kaden Honeycutt will start beside Heim on the front row, with Riggs, Enfinger and Corey Day rounding out the top five. Bayley Currey, Hemric, Tyler Ankrum, Garcia and Caruth complete the top-10 starters.

Other notable starting positions include Busch in 12th, Rhodes in 15th, Smith in 23rd, Majeski in 26th and Breidinger in 30th.

The Rackley Roofing 200 will go green shortly after 8 p.m. ET on Friday, with coverage on FS1, NRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
