For the fifth time this season, Corey Heim is a winner in the NASCAR Truck Series, dominating at Lime Rock Park. This week, Heim would not be denied. There was nothing stopping him from bringing this win home.

No late-race wreck or flukey incident happened this week. Corey Heim gets the job done at Lime Rock Park in impressive fashion. He has now won the last three road course races in the Truck Series. No other driver has done that before.

The final restart with five laps to go was madness. Somehow, Heim stayed out of danger and brought home his fifth win of 2025. He led all 100 laps of the race from start to finish.

Multiple times this year, Corey Heim has dominated races only to find a way to lose them. Pit road issues, a flat tire late, electrical issues, and just being flat out wrecked. If it can happen, it has happened to Heim in 2025.

Today at Lime Rock Park, it was utter dominance. Even with IMSA star Jordan Taylor in the race, it was all Heim from start to finish. Brent Crews couldn’t keep up, Layne Riggs couldn’t keep up, and it was clear early on that this was going to be Heim’s race to lose.

Not the most exciting Truck Series race ever. Heim’s dominance definitely didn’t help. Track position was king, and that was apparent throughout the field.

Corey Heim wins inaugural Lime Rock Park race

This was a new experience for everyone in the field. Lime Rock Park has never hosted a Truck Series race before. While some drivers have experience at the track in other race vehicles. But for the most part, everyone in the field was taking on a new race entirely.

Today’s race was the first time since Mid-Ohio in 2023 that Heim started on pole and won the race. He has led over 900 laps this season, which is outrageous. This is the ninth time that Heim has led the most laps in a race in 2025. His performance this season has been on another level.

Right now, it doesn’t look like anyone is going to truly challenge Corey Heim for best driver in the Truck Series. That doesn’t mean he’s guaranteed to win the championship. Anything can happen in the NASCAR Playoffs. But there is no one dominating in NASCAR the way that Heim has been this season.
