Daniel Hemric signs with McAnally-Hilgemann Racing for 2025 NASCAR Truck Series season

Daniel Hemric now knows where he’ll be racing in 2025. 

The 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion was signed by McAnally-Hilgemann Racing on Wednesday, where he’ll drive the No. 19 Chevrolet Silverado full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. 

Hemric competed full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series with Kaulig Racing in 2024, while MHR’s No. 19 truck reached the Truck Series Championship 4 with driver Christian Eckes — who ironically will go to the Kaulig Xfinity Series program in 2025. 

It’s a fresh start for the 33-year-old from Kannapolis, N.C., who saw his second full-time season in the Cup Series conclude with a 29th-place finish in the Cup Series points standings. 

Hemric has made 50 Truck Series starts in his career, with many of them coming in the No. 19 truck for Brad Keselowski Racing. While he has yet to visit victory lane in the Truck Series, he does have 30 top-10 finishes in the series to his credit. 

Hemric will have big shoes to fill in 2025, as the aforementioned Eckes won seven races over the past two seasons with the team. While he came just shy of making the Championship 4 in 2023, he made the championship race in 2024, proving MHR is capable of championship contention. 

The championship pedigree of both Hemric and MHR could come in handy as the team tries to finally capture the championship in 2025. Along with the opportunity to win races and another NASCAR title, Hemric’s tenure with McAnally-Hilgemann Racing could be the springboard for another Cup Series ride if the opportunity arises.
