Greg Biffle went viral over the weekend, and now he’s taking it up a notch. The veteran wheelman rocked a sleeveless outfit during an appearance in the FOX NASCAR booth as the Goodyear 400 raged on at Darlington Raceway, getting into the spirit of throwback weekend.

Now, the crew over at Simpson Racing have crafted Biffle a firesuit inspired by his viral look. Check it out below, as Biffle locked a sleeveless fire-suit design. The veteran wheelman called it one of his favorite looks, and it’s tough to argue with that sentiment.

Moreover, Biffle was at the track as the Honorary Pace Car Driver for the Goodyear 400. His outfit in the broadcast booth was more evidence of why he’s one of the more beloved figures in NASCAR. A real racer’s racer. During his career, Biffle made a living being one of those blue-collar guys that worked his way up through the ranks with Roush.

Additionally, the wheelman made headlines last year when he started flying his helicopter around North Carolina in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene flooding. There were many difficulties helping those in the mountain communities of the state and people like Biffle assisted with their own equipment and time.

The NASCAR world came together along with the North Carolina community. Drivers, teams, and more assisted with relief efforts.

For Throwback Weekend, Biffle was joined by Carl Edwards as the two guests of honor, along with the entire Wood Brothers Racing family. Biffle drove the pace car, Edwards waved the green flag, and the Woods gave the command to start engines. A perfect start to the race.

Among other guests in the booth today, Kyle and Richard Petty joined the guys for a while, as well. The whole event was a great look at the history of the sport throughout the afternoon in South Carolina.

In the end, Denny Hamlin notched back-to-back wins after Martinsville and Darlington. While the veteran dominated in Virginia, that wasn’t the case this past weekend.

He owes this one to his pit crew, who got him out front on the final stop of the afternoon for the last restart. Hamlin did the rest from there, notching win No. 56 of his career. Perhaps he can make it three in a row in Tennessee this coming weekend, and Greg Biffle will certainly be watching.
