Kaden Honeycutt topped the speed charts in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series practice session at Rockingham Speedway that was briefly delayed and eventually concluded early due to rain showers on Friday morning.
Honeycutt laid down a fastest lap of 22.775 seconds around the 0.94-mile North Carolina oval in his No. 11 TRICON Garage Toyota Tundra. Honeycutt, who is driving the same No. 11 that Corey Heim drove to the 2025 Truck Series championship, is still looking for his first win of 2026.
Heim, who is running a part-time Truck Series schedule with TRICON in 2026, was second in the session, with Andres Perez, points leader Chandler Smith and Gio Ruggiero rounding out the top five. Dawson Sutton, Layne Riggs, Ty Majeski, Grant Enfinger and Stewart Friesen completed the top 10.
Other notable practice results include Daniel Hemric in 11th, Jake Garcia in 12th, Adam Andretti in 15th, Carson Hocevar in 17th and Corey LaJoie in 21st. Friday's race at Rockingham will be LaJoie's first since it was revealed he would drive the No. 10 Kaulig Racing RAM following the suspension of Daniel Dye.
Defending Rockingham winner Tyler Ankrum was 13th-fastest in the practice session.
Qualifying, should it occur, is next on FS2. Friday's Black's Tire 200 is set to go green shortly after 4:30 p.m. ET, with coverage on FS1, NRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
