Kevin Harvick Sends Warning To 23XI Racing, Bubba Wallace

Kevin Harvick didn't pull any punches when talking about 23XI Racing on the latest episode of his "Happy Hour" podcast.

23XI Racing is currently being led by Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick. Although they both have incredible potential, they haven't lived up to expectations this season. The former has really struggled of late, whereas the latter has come crashing down since being named the regular-season Cup Series champion in 2024.

During last weekend's race at Kansas Speedway, 23XI Racing received a solid effort from Corey Heim. The talented Truck Series driver has a deal with 23XI Racing to compete part-time in the Cup Series.

On this week's episode of Harvick's podcast, he said 23XI Racing has to find a way to give Heim more starts in the Cup Series.

"We’ve been talking about Corey Heim. I have no idea why he’s still in the Truck Series," Harvick said. "I know he has nowhere to go, but somebody better find somewhere for him to go. They better find somewhere for him to go in a much bigger capacity than, you know, the eight, 10, 12 races that might be possible in that Cup car next year."

Harvick believes 23XI Racing will run the risk of losing Heim to another team if they don't promote him.

"If not, there’s going to be a conversation from a different manufacturer, or a different team, or somebody else wanting to know, 'Hey, what do we got to do to get Corey Heim in our car?' He’s the total package. We don’t see these kids come in and do that good in a Cup car very often."

Earlier this week, Jeff Gluck of The Athletic called out 23XI Racing for its sudden decline.

"23XI, they’re weird, man. They’ve fallen off," Gluck said, via On3. "What’s up with that? I don’t get that at all. Reddick might’ve had the fastest car at Texas, he just never got the track position. But then he told me at Texas, 'Oh yeah, I feel like what happens, the speed we’ll have at Texas will translate to Kansas, even though they’re different tracks,' and then they just didn’t really show anything."

Now that Harvick is calling out the Cup Series team, it's possible that'll put Wallace and Reddick on high alert.

If Wallace and Reddick struggle over the next few weeks, Heim could receive even more support from the rest of the NASCAR community.
