Kevin Harvick’s KHI Management has signed both Corey LaJoie and Shane van Gisbergen as new clients. The two drivers join a roster of athletes that includes NASCAR talents such as Ryan Preece, Josh Berry, Harrison Burton, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and more.

The KHI Management team is very excited to bring these two on board. Corey LaJoie is part of a massive expansion at Spire Motorsports where he will be the senior driver with two Cup Series rookies on his team.

Shane van Gisbergen – the name speaks for itself at this point. SVG is a three-time Supercars champion, won his debut Cup race on the streets of Chicago, and could be the next best thing in NASCAR.

Teaming up with Kevin Harvick and his management group is a great move for both the drivers and KHI. Word is, SVG is already getting tips from Harvick on how to race at Daytona.

“We’ve had a busy off season at KHI, both on the management side and the racing side,” said KHI Management co-owner Kevin Harvick. “On the management side, we’ve added Corey and Shane which is great for us. With Corey established in the Cup Series and Shane making his transition to NASCAR, I am confident KHIM can help them navigate their careers and grow their brands.”

The roster of drivers that KHI has built is very impressive. They are young, exciting, they all have personalities that are just waiting to be shown to a larger audience. It will be very interesting to see how LaJoie and SVG use this partnership to their advantage.

Kevin Harvick will have his hands in NASCAR post-retirement

Even though he won’t be lining up on Sundays anymore, Kevin Harvick is going to continue to leave a mark on NASCAR and stock car racing in the United States. It isn’t just KHI Management, it isn’t just his new gig at Fox Sports. There’s a lot more to it.

Harvick has co-ownership of the CARS Tour, which is going racing out West for the first time. Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway will be a major asset to West Coast stock car racing. Then there is his own Late Model/Pro Late Model teams that he runs at various races.

Without a manufacturer restriction, Harvick can just change the front bumper on his Late Model cars and put any of his drivers in the car. Ford, Chevy, Toyota – it doesn’t matter. Harvick is going to have a major impact on grassroots racing, and it will lead to an impact further down the line in NASCAR.

While Kevin Harvick has hung up his helmet and racing gloves, he’s not done changing this sport. The Closer is always going to have a presence.
