Kevin Harvick Speaks Out on Carson Hocevar's Aggressive Driving

Carson Hocevar is known throughout the NASCAR garage as one of the most aggressive drivers in the field. Going back to his days in the Craftsman Truck Series, Hocevar has made more than his fair share of on-track rivals. That aggressive driving style has continued in his second Cup Series season.

Lately, Hocevar has made an enemy of Ricky Stenhouse Jr. after the two drivers had their second run-in this last weekend in Mexico City. That’s twice in three weeks that two of the most aggressive drivers in the Cup Series have had an on-track altercation with no signs of slowing down.

During his "Happy Hour" podcast on Tuesday, Kevin Harvick shared some of his thoughts on the current state of the ongoing feud between Stenhouse and Hocevar and what he expects moving forward.

“It’s been a pretty one-way street as far as these incidents are working out and that means Hocevar into the back bumper of Stenhouse,” Harvick said. “And I think Ricky had enough, Hocevar was a lap down and that’s the part that Carson has to get better at, he has to have some common sense about the scenarios that he’s putting himself in.

“It’s going to be a day where he’s leading (the race) and he’s coming to lap Stenhouse and Stenhouse is going to wipe his [expletive] out. That’s how these things work, especially when you get to having two or three of them.”

There’s no doubt that there’s no love lost between the two hard-nosed racers and with Stenhouse having more words with Hocevar following their most recent altercation in Mexico City, there’s no telling when this feud will reach its tipping point, if it hasn’t already happened.

Stenhouse, Hocevar and the rest of the NASCAR Cup Series field head to Pocono Raceway this weekend. Race coverage begins at 2 p.m. ET on Prime.
