Even when other NASCAR drivers were taking time off, Kyle Busch was hard at work racing on dirt and with his son. Now, Rowdy is going to relax. Following the Tulsa Shootout and other offseason extracurriculars, Busch and his family are kicking off their racing shoes for a bit.

The Daytona 500 is 35 days away and the Busch Light Clash is sooner than that! So, Kyle and Samantha Busch should enjoy the time off while they can. Between Kyle and Brexton, these folks are at a race track most of the year.

Rowdy had to get out of the country in order to take a break from racing.

Looks like a fun vacation for the two-time champion. The NASCAR offseason doesn’t last long, and most drivers don’t really take time off. There is always something to do, time in the simulator, film to study, new setups to go over with the crew – and racing every now and then.

Before every weekend is a different city, different race track – the Busch family is going to take some time to themselves.

Kyle Busch getting ready for the Busch Light Clash

One thing about Kyle Busch, he wants to do everything and win everything. After a second place finish in the Busch Light Clash in 2023, I think he has his eyes on a win this season. It is likely the last year it will be held at the LA Coliseum.

Busch is also ready to compete for the win in the Daytona 500. He was so close last season and this could be his year. Things didn’t end nearly as well as they started in 2023. Richard Childress Racing could be a Championship 4 organization, but they have to fix the little things.

I really think this could be a huge season for Busch. He was so determined last season. It felt like his fire was relit. He has also continued to race outside of NASCAR, in the Truck and Xfinity Series as well – he just doesn’t stop.

Kyle Busch is one of the best to ever do it and he keeps looking for ways to improve, strive for new goals. 2024 might be the year of Rowdy after a three win season to start his tenure at RCR.
