Early trouble for Kyle Larson! His Double attempt continues to be a disaster as he spins from the lead of the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600. Larson took the lead quickly after starting P2 today at Charlotte. Now, he has slight damage to his car and will have to race back to the front.

Kyle Larson made contact with the wall as he got loose. Soon after, as he was about to lap Cody Ware, he lost control of his car. There is a lot more racing to go, and we have seen Larson drive from the back to the front before.

After wrecking out of the Indianapolis 500, Larson is now having trouble in his full-time job. They are going to check the toe links and other suspension parts to make sure that Larson is good to go for the rest of this 600-mile race.

Coming off of his rough time at the Indy 500, Kyle Larson was dejected after the mistake at Charlotte. But he is far from out of it. He will restart P28 when it is all said and done and still have 50 laps or so in this stage to move up and work with.

“I’m sorry,” Larson said on the radio, via Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic, after the spin. Cliff Daniels was quick to respond.

“Nothing to be sorry about, man. We are on Lap 43 of 400. I promise you, none of us are worried right now,” Daniels assured his driver.

Kyle Larson was pushing hard 40 laps into the race. Probably too hard. He needs to take his time now and relax. Larson is back in his element, he doesn’t need to prove anything by running too hard.

Kyle Larson hoping to bounce back quickly at Charlotte

After restarting after the spin, Kyle Larson has been struggling. He is fighting to stay in the top-30 with a few cars that have been handling poorly from the start of the race. Again, a lot of time to fix the car and get it going in the right direction again. However, Larson can’t risk going a lap down early.

In place of Larson, it has been a three-car battle with William Byron, Tyler Reddick, and Christopher Bell. A lot of great racing throughout the field right now. We will only see more close battles as the night goes on and this track cools off.

This entire field could flip as the night goes on and the sun sets. Cars will start to handle differently throughout the night. Mile 200 is a lot different than mile 400. And then there are still 200 more to go, which will be completely different than the 200 before.

Kyle Larson has to be patient and hope he doesn’t go a lap down early in this race. It could set him back too much, no matter what Cliff Daniels and the crew do to the car.
