Mother Nature continued not to play nice with NASCAR this fall on Saturday at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Heavy rain washed out any and all on-track activity scheduled for Saturday, including NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series practice and qualifying, NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying and the O'Reilly Series race, the NC Blue Cross 300.
The starting lineup for both the O'Reilly and Cup Series races was set by the NASCAR rulebook, while the O'Reilly Series race was postponed to 8 p.m. ET Sunday following the Cup Series race at 3 p.m. ET.
NASCAR had previously moved up the start time for O'Reilly Series practice in an effort to get ahead of the impending rain, but did so to no avail.
All of Saturday’s scheduled on-track activity at Charlotte Motor Speedway has been canceled/postponed due to inclement weather.
