NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Jake Garcia earned his second career pole position Saturday after posting the fastest qualifying lap at Kansas Speedway.
Garcia turned the 1.5-mile track at 175.655 mph, topping runner-up Corey Heim, who will start on the outside of the front row for Friday night’s Heart of Health Care 200.
The leaders will likely be challenged by the machines from the next two rows. Defending series champion Ty Majeski and Cup Series regular Carson Hocevar occupied the second row, and Ben Rhodes and Rajah Caruth began the third.

How dominant has Corey Heim been this season?
Well, consider the variety of categories the Truck Series’ points pace-setter leads the circuit, entering Saturday:
Heim also ranks second with five top-five finishes
Can he continue this level of racing in his quest for his first series title?
