Another NASCAR Cup Series race didn't go Kyle Busch's way.

After commencing the 2025 season with three top-10 finishes, Busch's momentum has stalled. The 29-year-old finished 33rd at Las Vegas and endured another underwhelming showing at Sunday's Straight Talk Wireless 400.

Near the end of Stage 2, William Byron caught up to Busch and Shane Van Gisbergen near the rear while pushing for the lead. In fourth with Ryan Blaney controlling the Homestead-Miami Speedway race, Byron vented on his internal communication feed as he tried to pass the lapped cars.

"They're racing for f****** last," Byron said of the fellow Chevrolet drivers, via Steven Taranto of CBS Sports.

Meanwhile, Blaney was facing a similar ordeal. The Team Penske driver couldn't pass Todd Gilliland and Riley Herbst despite one of his spotters requesting them to yield.

"I'm gonna lose the stage because of these f*****g d***heads," Blaney said.

Blaney dominated most of Sunday's race, leading for 124 laps before his engine blew up for the second time in three weeks.

NASCAR noted that Blaney has now failed to finish three straight Cup Series races for the first time in his career. Taranto shared the 31-year-old's exasperated reaction to the latest mishap.

"I'm f****** blowing up or something," Blaney said. "You have got to be s******g me. Oh my God. Sorry, fellas. It will go our way eventually, I hope. Appreciate the fast car."

Blaney later told FOX's Jamie Little that his latest incident "just stinks."

"We'll keep our head up," Blaney said. "It's just one of those things where it's not going our way right now, but the good news is we're bringing fast cars, and that's all you can ask for."

Although Blaney dropped out of the running, Byron fell outside the top 10 and finished 12th. Kyle Larson passed Alex Bowman during the closing laps to secure his first win of the season.

However, Byron's prediction proved inaccurate. Busch wasn't racing for last, as he finished 21st.
