The birth of a child is one of the most special moments any human can experience. It’s one of those days you never forget. And that’s all when it’s done in a controlled, clean environment like a hospital, as is the case for most births.
But imagine if you had to deliver your own child... in a McDonald’s parking lot... at 2 a.m.
NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Justin Bonsignore doesn’t have to imagine it. He revealed Thursday on X that he personally experienced that exact scenario last week.
“Tay and I delivered our baby boy Greyson in a @McDonalds parking lot last week, with only a 911 operator helping us at 2:49am,” he wrote. “Fitting for as much as we eat there on trips home from the races. Have to discuss sponsorship for this future racer, move over @BubbaWallace!”

Bonsignore was referring to the McDonald’s sponsorship the 23XI Racing driver has had on his car for the last several years.
Interestingly, Bonsignore has another connection to Wallace. The four-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Champion made his Xfinity Series debut in 2024 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway for Joe Gibbs Racing. JGR and 23XI are in a close alliance together.
This year the 37-year-old made his second run for JGR at Daytona. He finished 25th. And that was just the beginning.
He is scheduled to run eight more races this year, including races at Homestead (March 22), Bristol (April 12), Rockingham (April 19), Pocono (June 21), Iowa (August 2), Bristol (September 12), Kansas (September 27) and Phoenix (November 1).
