The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will not qualify at Nashville Superspeedway due to a pop-up rain shower at the track. Corey Heim will start on pole according to the metric. He will be seeking his fifth win of the season after winning last week at Charlotte in a dominant performance.
NASCAR is still planning on having practice for the Truck Series. However, that will only be if they can get the track dried off in time. Everything looked like it was going to go along as usual, and then the sky opened up.
There are chances of these showers in Nashville at different points in the NASCAR weekend. The Truck Series got caught on the wrong side of the low chance of rain.
Corey Heim will start on pole with Kaden Honeycutt to his outside. Layne Riggs won’t be too far back on Row 2 with Grant Enfinger. Kyle Busch starts on Row 6.

This is a track that Corey Heim has raced a lot already in his Truck Series and Cup Series career. He made his first NASCAR start with 23XI Racing at Nashville in 2024. While he wrecked out of the race in the end, it was a very promising performance.
From 2024 to 2025, Heim has improved a lot in the Truck Series. He has also shown improvement in the Cup Series. He was P22 for Legacy Motor Club at Kansas last year. This season, he improved that finish to P13. While the main focus is winning the Truck race tonight, a top-10 in the Cup race would be major for Heim.
Corey Heim has led the most laps in 7 of the first 11 races of the Truck Series season. He will start on the pole for the fourth time this year. If you believe in trends, he has not won a race from the pole, earned on the track (Homestead, Martinsville) or set by the metric (North Wilkesboro) this season. The last time Heim won from the pole was at Mid-Ohio in 2023.
The NASCAR weekend at Nashville is off to a disappointing start. Hopefully, the rain won’t be a constant issue over the next couple of days. These Music City race fans want to see the action play out on the track!
Corey Heim gets the race started tonight from the pole. Can he break his streak of going winless from the pole? He will have to battle a field of hungry Truck Series drivers to do it.
