As you can tell, the docuseries will be focused on Dale Sr. and his life on and off the track. With Imagine Documentaries, NASCAR Studios and Everyone Else, in association with Dirrty Mo Media, this is a massive project, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be a major part of the presentation, as well.
Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are behind the creation of the series. That should excite fans who have taken in other work by the duo in recent years, as it’s been some of the best in Hollywood.
Comments from Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kelley Earnhardt-Miller, and many others in The Intimidator’s life will grace the docuseries. There is also a promise of rare footage of the man himself. It is going to be a must-watch for any NASCAR or racing fan, and you can catch it all beginning this weekend.
Moreover, the release of Earnhardt coincides with the NASCAR Cup Series heading to Prime Video, beginning with this weekend’s Coca-Cola 600. That means Dale Earnhardt Jr. is back in the booth, which should be music to the ears of fans around the nation.
But wait, there’s more. Amazon has also tapped music legends John Fogerty and Eric Church to “reimagine” the Creedence Clearwater Revival classic, “Up Around the Bend.” This new version of a classic song will serve as the anthem for NASCAR on Prime Video.
There are five races this spring and summer to watch on the streaming platform, beginning this weekend. Not only do we get the new song and all the hype that comes with this new broadcast partner, but Earnhardt Jr. back in the booth is awesome.
He was missed in the NBC booth last season. Fans definitely noticed his absence. This year, fans get him for 10 races. He will do both the Prime Video and TNT Sports broadcasts. Great news for fans, and a great time for the Earnhardt family.
