Ram finds first organization in return to NASCAR Truck Series

In its return to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Ram has found its first organization.

On Saturday, Kaulig Racing announced a five-truck effort with Ram for the 2026 Craftsman Truck Series season and beyond, marking the organization's first step into the Truck Series.

No drivers have been announced for Kaulig's Truck Series program yet. Kaulig is the only team Ram plans to compete with in the Truck Series in 2026. Ram announced its return to the series at Michigan International Speedway on June 8. Ram has not competed in the Truck Series since 2013.

Kaulig has fielded vehicles in the NASCAR Xfinity Series since 2016 and NASCAR Cup Series since 2020. While the organization fields Chevrolet cars in both of those series, having two manufacturers under the Kaulig banner is not expected to be a problem.

"We're talking about bringing a brand new vehicle to the Truck Series," team owner Matt Kaulig told reporters on Saturday. "There's a lot that goes into it. But we're not even in September yet. We don't have to be back here at Daytona till February. I think we're good."

The Truck Series will open its 2026 season at Daytona on Feb. 13, 2026.
