Weeks after Greg Biffle, his wife and two children were killed in a plane crash in North Carolina that ended the lives of seven people in total, burglars stole from his house.

The burglary took place at Biffle’s family home in Mooresville, North Carolina, on January 8. According to the incident report, the burglars stole $30,000 in cash from the property. Guns and memorabilia are also reportedly missing, as the Iredell County Sheriff’s continue to search for suspects.

“Currently, no arrest has been made,” a spokesperson for the Office told WHSV.com, via the Daily Mail. “Investigators are continuing to review all evidence, including digital and other available information, as the case remains under investigation.”

Biffle, his wife Cristina, and their two children, Emma and Ryder, lost their lives after the Cessna C550 jet, property of the driver, crashed into the runway at Statesville Regional Airport around 10:15 am on Dec. 18.

Former NASCAR racer Kenny Wallace offered a devastating suggestion on what happened to the plane that took Greg Biffle to his death. In a YouTube video, Kenny Wallace offered his take.

“Here’s what I think,” he said. “I think the plane took off, I think they lost a motor, and then, I guess it started having a lot of drag on it. In other words… yes, we know it should fly just perfectly with one motor.

“I think we lost a motor. That’s where all the up and down was taking place. They decide to come back. The flaps are down, and they don’t have any horsepower.”

Details about Biffle’s sudden death are still under investigation.
