Tyler Reddick paid tribute to Michael Jordan by recreating one of the NBA icon’s most recognizable championship poses after his third straight NASCAR Cup Series victory.
The 23XI Racing driver shared a photo on X showing himself holding the race trophy and raising three fingers following his win at the DuraMAX Texas Grand Prix.
The image echoed Jordan’s celebrated snapshot after the Chicago Bulls captured the 1993 NBA title to seal the first three-peat of his career and franchise history.
Tyler Reddick initially flashed three fingers after stepping out of his No. 45 Toyota at Circuit of The Americas.
He later posed with the trophy for social media, deliberately replicating the gesture long associated with Michael Jordan’s third consecutive NBA crown.
The triumph made Reddick the first driver in NASCAR Cup Series history to start a season with three straight wins.
It also represented his 11th career victory and second at COTA while stretching his points advantage to 70.
The achievement capped an extraordinary opening stretch for 23XI Racing. Tyler Reddick reflected on the importance of the moment after climbing from the car.
“It’s one race, but it was so important… It’s so fitting to get three in a row and make history.”
By pairing a record-setting start with a visual nod to his team co-owner’s championship legacy, Reddick blended NASCAR history with an enduring image from basketball lore.
For Michael Jordan, after years of investing in his 23XI NASCAR team, the results are finally starting to come in.
