What the NASCAR Cup Series Chase bubble looks like after Charlotte

Sunday's running of the Coca-Cola 600 marked the halfway point of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series regular season. With 13 races remaining until the Chase begins at Darlington on Sept. 6, here's what the Cup Series Chase bubble looks like.

1. Tyler Reddick (+332)

2. Denny Hamlin (+210)

3. Ryan Blaney (+158)

4. Ty Gibbs (+137)

5. Chase Elliott (+135)

6. Kyle Larson (+98)

7. Chris Buescher (+97)

8. Christopher Bell (+73)

9. Carson Hocevar (+68)

10. Daniel Suarez (+62)

11. Brad Keselowski (+55)

12. William Byron (+49)

13. Bubba Wallace (+40)

Wallace had speed early in Sunday's race before contact with the wall knocked him well out of contention. He finished one lap down in 22nd, continuing a mini-slump that's seen him finish outside of the top 20 in three of the last four races.

14. Shane van Gisbergen (+28)

The Watkins Glen winner started third on Sunday, led 11 laps and finished 11th in arguably the best oval effort of his young NASCAR career. If van Gisbergen can keep improving on ovals, a Chase berth is very much a possibility.

15. Chase Briscoe (+16)

Stage points kept Briscoe, who crashed out and finished 34th on Sunday, above the cut line after Charlotte. He led 34 laps and earned 24 huge stage points to keep his head above water.

16. Ryan Preece (+15)

Preece was caught up in the same wreck as Briscoe and finished 33rd on Sunday evening. It was the first time all season the consistent RFK Racing driver did not finish a race on the lead lap.

17. Austin Cindric (-15)

Cindric was another bubble driver to crash on Sunday. He finished 38th after an early incident that also involved rookie Connor Zilisch, breaking a streak of four straight top-15 finishes for the Team Penske pilot.

18. Joey Logano (-29)

Logano and the No. 22 team slugged their way to a eighth-place finish on Sunday despite a lack of speed at Charlotte. Finishes like that are what the three-time champion needs if he's to make the Chase and and have any shot at a fourth title.

19. AJ Allmendinger (-49)

Allmendinger quietly finished 18th on Sunday and is putting together a respectable campaign given the lack of Chevrolet support for Kaulig Racing in 2026. With that said, he'll need some top 15 and top 10 results to get closer to the cut line as the summer stretch begins.

20. Michael McDowwell (-55)

McDowell finished a solid 14th at Charlotte after a runner-up result at Watkins Glen two weeks prior. However, McDowell has several drivers knocking at his door who would like to break into the top-20 in the standings — most notably Zane Smith (21st), who led 31 laps en route to a 10th-place finish on Sunday.

21. Zane Smith (-59)

22. Erik Jones (-59)

23. Ross Chastain (-65)

24. Austin Dillon (-78)

25. Todd Gilliland (-80)
