What the NASCAR Truck Series playoff picture looks like after IRP

Layne Riggs won Friday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Indianapolis Raceway Park, but behind him, the Truck Series playoff picture continued to shift. Here's what the playoff standings look like with two races remaining in the regular season.

1. Corey Heim (five wins)

2. Chandler Smith (two wins)

3. Layne Riggs (two wins)

4. Daniel Hemric (one win)

5. Tyler Ankrum (one win)

6. Rajah Caruth (one win)

7. Stewart Friesen (one win)

8. Grant Enfinger (+89)

Enfinger is all but locked in after a fourth-place finish at IRP. Finding a win and building up playoff points over the next two races should be the goal for the No. 9 team.

9. Kaden Honeycutt (+73)

Like Enfinger, Honeycutt has to be feeling good on points. Richmond on Aug. 15 is an excellent shot for the No. 45 team to get to victory lane for the first time in 2025.

10. Ty Majeski (+61)

The defending Truck Series champ has fallen short of expectations this season, but he still holds a race's worth of cushion over the cut line. However, a winner from 11th or below in the standings could potentially knock him out of the postseason.

11. Jake Garcia (-61)

Garcia has had a much better season than he had a year ago, but he's slipped in recent weeks and need to make up a full race's worth of points in two races. That's a tall order for the 20-year-old, who is still searching for his first career win.

12. Ben Rhodes (-77)

Rhodes, a two-time Truck Series champion, has had a disappointing 2025 campaign. He's essentially in must-win territory at this point, but if anyone can snag a miraculous victory, it's Rhodes.

13. Gio Ruggiero (-99)

A shockingly poor performance at IRP has put Ruggiero, a Truck Series rookie, in must-win territory as well. He's had a decent rookie season, but his playoff hopes have waned significantly in recent weeks.

14. Tanner Gray (-122)

Gray is the first driver below the cut line who is officially in must-win territory at this point in the season. He's still looking for career win No. 1 in his sixth full-time season, and there'd be no better time for it to happen than now.
