What to know after NASCAR Xfinity Series practice, qualifying at Dover

Saturday's BetRivers 200 at Dover Motor Speedway is set to start shortly after 4:30 p.m. ET. Here's what you need to know following NASCAR Xfinity Series practice and qualifying at the 'Monster Mile.' 

Jesse Love paces practice 

Second-year driver Jesse Love topped the speed charts in practice on Saturday morning, turning a fastest lap of 23.804 seconds. Parker Retzlaff, Lavar Scott, Anthony Alfredo and Matt DiBenedetto rounded out the top five, with Brennan Poole, Ryan Truex, Ryan Sieg, Sheldon Creed and Nick Sanchez completing the top 10. 

Other notable practice results included Ross Chastain in 11th, Brandon Jones in 13th, Justin Allgaier in 17th, Connor Zilisch in 18th and Jake Finch in 23rd. 

Taylor Gray on pole 

Gray, an Xfinity Series rookie, scored the pole for Saturday's race with a lap of 23.578 seconds. Sanchez, Zilisch, Jones and Chastain rounded out the top five, with Aric Almirola, Allgaier, William Sawalich, Harrison Burton and Jeb Burton completing the top 10. 

Other notable qualifying results included Sheldon Creed in 11th, Love in 12th, Austin Hill in 15th, Rajah Caruth in 16th and Scott in 22nd. 

Favorite: Ross Chastain (+300, per DraftKings)

Chastain is a full-time Cup Series driver dipping down for an Xfinity Series start this week, and he's the odds-on favorite to go to victory lane. Almirola (+330) and defending Xfinity Series champion Allgaier (+330) join him atop the favorites list. 

The BetRivers 200 will go green shortly after 4:30 p.m. ET, with coverage on the CW, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
