Kevin Durant may be 37 years old, but he remains one of the most dominant and popular players in the NBA today.
Durant, who was traded to the Houston Rockets from the Phoenix Suns during the past offseason, is currently averaging 24.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.o block per game. He's shooting 47.4% from the field and 37.5% from deep.
With him leading the way, the Rockets boast a 5-2 record, third in the Western Conference — only behind the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Despite being in the latter stages of his career, Durant is also still a marketable player. In fact, off the court, he's one of the highest-paid players.
According to an estimate from Sportico, Durant is earning $103.3 million this 2025-26 season through his NBA contract and endorsements. He is getting paid $53.3 million in the NBA and another $50 million through his endorsements with Nike, Boardroom and other brands.
It's worth noting that Durant is tied with Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry in endorsement money, with Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James the only one earning more than them off the court with an estimate of $80 million.
Curry is above Durant in total earnings ($109.6 million) because he has the highest salary in the NBA at $59.6 million. James, however, sits atop with a total of $132.6 million.
The Rockets superstar's total earnings have increased compared to last year, though. He was fourth on the list of the NBA's biggest earners in 2024-25 with $97.9 million — which equates to a $5.4 million increase.
