3 Trade Options the Los Angeles Clippers Could Pursue During 2025-26 NBA Season

The Los Angeles Clippers are expected to be one of the top teams in the Western Conference this season thanks to their core led by Kawhi Leonard, James Harden and Ivica Zubac.

Of course, the Clippers finished fifth in the West last season but failed to make it out of the first round of the playoffs for the third consecutive season.

Due to this, they elected to make some key additions to their roster this offseason as they signed Bradley Beal, Chris Paul and Brook Lopez and acquired John Collins from the Utah Jazz in a three-team trade that sent Norman Powell to the Miami Heat.

By making these moves, the Clippers are hoping to make a run at a title this season as long as everyone can stay healthy.

Despite this, Los Angeles could also elect to make some moves ahead of the trade deadline and if they do so, these three players could be potential targets.

Obi Toppin

Obi Toppin has been in trade rumors for most of the offseason after his incredible play last season during the Indiana Pacers’ run to the NBA Finals.

If the Pacers do look to move Toppin, the Clippers could emerge as a potential landing spot as they could look to bolster their forward depth.

The 27-year-old forward is a great scorer and rebounder who proved last season that he can play a key role during a team’s playoff run.

Toumani Camara

Toumani Camara broke out last season in his second year in the NBA as he turned himself into one of the best young defenders in the league with the Portland Trail Blazers.

The 25-year-old forward also proved to be a key offensive player last season in Portland to go along with his elite defensive play and if they make him available, Los Angeles could target him.

Despite this, Portland will likely have an extremely high asking price for him as he has turned into one of their best players during their rebuild, though the Clippers could look to make a move for him to bolster their forward depth while also adding another elite defender to their roster.

Duop Reath

While the Clippers signed Lopez this offseason, they could still look to bolster their frontcourt and Duop Reath could become a potential option for them.

The 29-year-old center was in trade rumors last season due to the Trail Blazers’ abundance of centers on their roster and he could be on the move this season.

If that is the case, the Clippers could look to make a trade for him and they should be able to acquire him for a cheap price to add another solid big man to their roster.

While Los Angeles could target these players, they could also look elsewhere to bolster their roster as they try to make a run at a championship this season.
