The 2025 NBA draft lottery will take place on Monday night, deciding the order of the first 14 picks in this year's upcoming selection process.

Three teams hold the best odds to claim the No. 1 over pick at 14% — the Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets. The New Orleans Pelicans hold the next-best odds at 12.5%, followed by the Philadelphia 76ers at 10.5%.

Last year, the 76ers selected Jared McCain with the No. 16 overall pick in the first round. The former Duke basketball star was on pace to contend for 2024-25 NBA Rookie of the Year honors before suffering a season-ending knee injury in December.

Before tearing his meniscus, McCain was averaging 15.3 points per game on 46% shooting from the field and 38.3% from behind the 3-point arc. The 76ers finished the year with a 24-58 record, enough for No. 13 position in the Eastern Conference.

McCain will represent the 76ers at the 2025 NBA draft lottery on Monday night, the team shared in an announcement last week.

"You guessed it !! Jared McCain will be repping us at the draft lottery," the team wrote on X.

This year's NBA draft lottery is widely viewed as the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes. If the 76ers get the No. 1 overall pick, they'll no doubt land McCain's fellow Blue Devil alum with the organization's top selection.

The 76ers will lose their first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder if it falls out of the top six. The organization has a 64% chance of landing a top-six pick in Monday night's lottery.

The 2025 NBA draft lottery will begin at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
