There are a lot of speculations about what's next for Giannis Antetokounmpo. After a tumultuous 2024-25 season, followed by a disappointing playoff run, there have been rumors that Antetokounmpo could leave over the summer. The All-Star forward is set to meet with the organization this offseason, which will determine what both parties will do moving forward.
The Greek Freak wants to add another title under his belt. However, the Bucks haven't been competitive over the past three years. During that span, they've been eliminated in the first round. The All-Star big man could be looking for a change of scenery.
On Monday's episode of "Podcast P with Paul George," the host of the show talked about what he thinks will happen with Antetokounmpo and the Bucks. The Philadelphia 76ers star talked about it with his guest, former teammate and NBA legend, Carmelo Anthony.
“Giannis is that old era cut, I think he wants to stay in Milwaukee his whole career,” George said. “I don’t see him wanting to leave."
Anthony also chimed in and said this:
“Giannis built Milwaukee. This new Milwaukee 2.0, Giannis built that. He won with that, from the ground up… if they get rid of Giannis, Milwaukee is taking 15 years step back.”
Melo & PG believe Giannis will stay in Milwaukee despite all the rumors.

George and Melo aren't the only ones who believe the 2021 Finals MVP will stay. Former NBA star Charles Barkley aired his frustration during a May 13 broadcast of TNT's "Inside the NBA." Barkley said he's annoyed about the rumors and speculations about Antetokounmpo needing to leave the franchise.
According to the 11-time All-Star, he wants to see the 6-foot-11 superstar stay in Milwaukee. The Round Mound of Rebound said there's no need for Antetokounmpo to leave the organization.
However, the decision is still on the Greek Freak on how he wants to continue his career. Until now, there's still no assurance of what will happen to the Bucks and Antetokounmpo.
