Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo will represent Greece in the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket tournament, and his country will open its campaign against Italy tomorrow.

Because Antetokounmpo is a walking mismatch, Italian head coach Gianmarco Pozzecco revealed his hilarious plan on how he plans to stop the Milwaukee Bucks star.

“A friend of mine is a sniper. We will put him in the top of the gym. Probably we will do this in the first quarter. So he will not play second quarter, third quarter, and fourth quarter,” Pozzecco quipped about Antetokounmpo via Eurohoops.

“Friend of mine is like really good sniper. This is the only option that we already got with staff. There is no other option. To stop him is not possible,” he concluded.

Milwaukee Bucks News: Giannis Antetokounmpo receives ultimate green light from Greece coach

Greece head coach Vassilis Spanoulis recently revealed that he plans to play Giannis Antetokounmpo as much as he can in the FIBA EuroBasket tournament, as the Milwaukee Bucks star is their best chance of winning.

“Giannis (Antetokounmpo) can play as much as I want him to play, we are in the official games now and there’s no limitations anymore,” Spanoulis told Michalis Gioulenoglu of Eurohoops.

“He is more vocal this year. He is very humble for his status and the kind of player he is, and that extends off the court. He wants to win, he wants to get this team to another level. He listens, but he can also lead the team in his own way,” he added.
