Kevin Durant ’s response to a fan asking him about an old Aaron Bruski tweet is going viral for its hilarious take. Bruski tweeted through his Twitter, now X account, that the LA Clippers owner, Steve Ballmer, was crying in a team meeting with Kevin Durant. According to the tweet, which was posted in 2016, the team meeting was pretty “intense”.

A particular fan found the old tweet and asked Kevin Durant what the meeting was all about and what exactly took place that led to Ballmer crying. The Phoenix Suns power forward responded that there was definitely no one crying at that time and that Bruski’s tweet was simply an engagement farming strategy.

“Clippers meeting with Durant was “intense” and “at one point Steve Ballmer was crying” but everyone grew closer and a big lesson was learned.” Aaron Bruski tweeted through his X account on July 2nd, back in 2016.

“Somebody crying was news to me, we didn’t know what engagement farming was back then, Aaron was ahead of his time.” Kevin Durant responded to the fan who asked him about Bruski’s old tweet.

Kevin Durant has never played for the Los Angeles Clippers in his NBA career. But, it is also true that the Clippers were definitely trying to get the talented NBA legend on their roster when he was in between teams. Currently, Durant is playing for the Phoenix Suns whom he signed with back in 2023.

Kevin Durant May Soon Sign With The San Antonio Spurs

On another note, it looks like Kevin Durant is already on the hunt to play for another team in the NBA. According to rumors, Durant might soon sign with the San Antonio Spurs after leaving the Suns. Apparently, the reason why the news has not broken out yet is that the team and Durant are waiting for NBA Draft Week.

Kevin Durant is right now in the last year of his contract with the Phoenix Suns. While the player has been simply phenomenal for the Suns ever since he joined the team back in 2023, Durant seems to be done with Phoenix and is ready to play for another squad in the next NBA season. In this NBA season, the Suns did not do too well and finished 11th in the regular season after winning a total of 36 games. The last game they played was against the Sacramento Kings, which they lost with a 109-98 score.
