Al Horford has recently reunited with the Boston Celtics in a trade that was centered around Kemba Walker, who was sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Horford had a great rapport with Brad Stevens, who was the coach at the time. He also notably made 1 All-Star appearance with the team.

NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski has recently stated that Al Horford had never originally wanted to leave the Boston Celtics. Horford notably left the Boston Celtics to go to the Philadelphia 76ers, who offered him a huge deal in free agency. While his time with the Philadelphia 76ers wasn't the best, Horford bounced back with the Oklahoma City Thunder, and will potentially be the starting center for the Celtics next season.

There is no doubt that Al Horford will provide a great veteran presence in the locker room, as he has done in years past with the Boston Celtics. It makes sense for a player to pick something that benefits them financially, and Horford's reason for leaving is understandable. Hopefully, Horford can help the Boston Celtics recover from this disappointing season, and allow them to make some noise in the Eastern Conference next season.
