AJ Dybantsa is coming off back-to-back top performances at the McDonald's All-American Game and for USA Basketball at the Nike Hoop Summit. The BYU commit might be showing why he's the No. 1 player in the country, but he's also heating up off the court.
Dybantsa received his own PE of the upcoming KD 18s after doing an interview with the NBA great. His own logo on the tongue of the shoe was a great addition. The Utah Prep star was also rocking another player edition from Nike GT Future—a pair sneakerheads may recognize from P.J. Tucker’s rotation, according to Isaiah Jones from Athlon Kicks.
"The GT Future is definitely an eye-catching design, especially for a basketball shoe, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t raise an eyebrow at the build. It’s got a unique silhouette that makes you question how it’ll hold up on the court."
Not the first time for Dybantsa to feature the hooper Nike model. He wore a GT Future Black set for the NBA All-Star Weekend in Golden State. However, the latest PE adds speculation for Dybantsa's future. This 'Greater Than' series of performance basketball sneakers have a modern look, but they have to match his energy on the court. With BYU being a Nike school, expect more colorways coming in the near future with Dybantsa on the rise.
The Nike GT Future is set to debut in Holiday 2025 via Nike, the SNKRS app, and at select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $190.
