A’ja Wilson’s BF Shuts Down Malika Andrews With Epic Shoutout

This is not the first time Bam has credited his girlfriend for his accomplishments. Following his historic game, in which Wilson was present courtside, the couple shared the stage in the post-match press conference.

“The behind-the-scenes, the workouts and the conversations are very motivating. Obviously, you see what she does, and you get inspired every day by that. I’m thankful to have her in my life.” Adebayo said.

The WNBA MVP also praised her boyfriend on his big night, saying he inspires her both personally and professionally.

“I know he says that I’m his inspiration, but I don’t think he has a clue how much he inspires me to continue to be the person that I am, but to show up for him,” she said.

Since When Have A’ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo Been Together?

Wilson and Adebayo initially sparked dating rumours ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, where they were usually spotted together.

It was not until February 7, 2025, that the rumours came true. Bam Adebayo was spotted wearing Wilson’s signature A’One sneakers in the pink colourway, months before the sneaker was set to release in May.

The Miami center was also present courtside during Wilson’s jersey retirement ceremony with the Gamecocks.

The relationship was finally set in stone in April last year, when Wilson publicly called Adebayo her boyfriend in a cover story for Cosmo Sports, “I have an amazing boyfriend who really is my safe space. He’s truly a gift,” Wilson said.

After missing out on watching Adebayo score his 10,000th NBA point, the Miami center made sure that Wilson would be courtside when he secured one of the most groundbreaking achievements in NBA history.
