Veteran center Al Horford is deciding between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors.
The NBA champion could also retire.

Horford appeared in 60 games for the Boston Celtics last season. The five-time All-Star averaged 9.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists while shooting 42.3% overall, 36.3% from 3 and 89.5% from the foul line.
The 39-year-old Horford has played for the Atlanta Hawks, Celtics (twice), Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder. The veteran has career averages of 12.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists.
The Lakers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the 2025 playoffs in five games. They have signed Jake LaRavia and Deandre Ayton this offseason.
Meanwhile, the Warriors lost to the Timberwolves in the second round of the 2025 postseason. They haven’t made any moves in free agency yet.
