Al Horford's Sister Takes A Shot At Kyrie Irving Amid His Trade Request From The Nets

Kyrie Irving asking for a trade from the Brooklyn Nets saw some shade coming his way from Anna Horford, the sister of Boston Celtics' Al Horford.

Irving's bombshell move on Friday took the NBA world by storm, and while there were mixed responses, Anna leaned towards the trolling side and took a shot at the Nets guard.

She took to Twitter to share an image of Irving when he was with the Celtics. A closer look at the image shows it was from the day he committed his future to the team but eventually had a controversial exit joining Brooklyn.

Perhaps, it was her way of also warning franchises that Irving would pull off a stunner if he didn't feel at home. At the time of writing, the tweet had around 24.3 likes and over 1,70 retweets, with responses primarily from Celtics fans who were in splits.

Anna didn't share any words, but as they say, pictures speak volumes, and safe to say the post did its job. 

Prior to the 2018 season, Irving had assured his fans of returning, only to ink a deal with the Nets during the offseason after his contract expired. Later, he explained his departure, saying he wanted to return closer to his home in New Jersey.

Kyrie Irving Has Enough Interested Parties

While Al Horford's sister made her point clear, there are still ample suitors for Irving. The Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, and Phoenix Suns are some of the teams interested in acquiring his services.

There have been reports of the Lakers hesitant to offer Irving a long-term contract, especially after it was reported that he was looking at a four-year, close to $200 million deal. The Nets were interested in acquiring trade Spencer Dwinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith for the guard.

At the time of writing, there are no concrete developments about where he would eventually land, but despite his unceremonious exit from Boston, his game garners attention, and that's pretty much on the interested parties' minds. The next week will be crucial as far as his future with the Nets is concerned.
