NBA same-game parlay for Tuesday: Clippers and Trail Blazers

There might only be three NBA games on Tuesday, but that's not going to stop us from placing a parlay. However, we're going with an SGP instead of a standard parlay due to the small slate of games.

The Clippers and Trail Blazers have been bitten by the injury bug so far this season, but don't let that deter you from taking the over of 205.5 total points tonight. Yes, we know Damian Lillard and Gary Payton II are both out for Portland on Tuesday, but still, expect Portland to get at least 100 points in this one. And we also know Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, John Wall and Luke Kennard won't play on Tuesday for the Clippers, but still, also expect Los Angeles to get to the century mark.

Why you ask? Well, both teams have been down players left and right, and yet, both teams are averaging well over 100 points a game. But there's more ... The Trail Blazers have allowed at least 109 points in eight straight games, and the Clippers have allowed at least 100 points in four straight games. So, even though this might be a close cover, taking the over of 205.5 total points is worth it simply because both teams have been playing in games where the total has been well north of 206 points as of late.

As for the second leg of our SGP, take the Clippers (+10.5) on the alternate spread. LA manhandled the Pacers on Sunday despite playing without Leonard and George, and Portland has been far from good as of late. Heck, the Trail Blazers have dropped five of six, and their only win was by three points, so even a Portland victory isn't guaranteed. But just to be safe, we're going to take LA on the alternate spread due to George, Leonard and Wall being out for Tuesday's game.

And to close out our SGP, count on the Clippers to score at least 100 points. LA might be dead last in points per game, but they're still averaging 106.4 points per game. Plus, the Clips have scored at least 100 points in five straight games and seven of their last eight. This team is more than used to playing without their stars, and yet, they continue to score 100+ points with ease. Don't expect that to change on Tuesday, especially against a struggling Portland defense as of late.

The SGP: Clippers/Trail Blazers > 205.5 Total Points, Clippers (+10.5) and Blazers > 99.5 Points (-110 odds via BetMGM)

Bet $110 to win $100
