Watch: Robin Lopez trash talks his twin brother

Robin Lopez was mic'd up for the Cavs-Bucks game Wednesday night. Predictably, he roasted his brother.

Robin is one minute younger than his brother Brook, and perhaps that's why he's so dedicated to roasting his twin. During the Cavaliers' win, Robin celebrated every time Brook traveled, turned the ball over, or missed a shot. He also called out his twin brother for flopping.

"That's a flop! That's a flop!" Robin told the referee. "He's an actor! He was in 'West Side Story.' He was Officer Krupke!"

Lopez also got agitated during a replay review, asking "Don't they have people in New Jersey for this? What's going on in Hoboken?" (It's actually Secaucus.)

It's part of a long-running rivalry between the twin brothers. Even as college teammates at Stanford, coaches had to make sure the Lopez brothers weren't matched up because "they start pushing and shoving, and won't call fouls on each other." That's also where both twins did some acting in Stanford's annual "Gaeties" pageant.

The bickering has continued in the NBA. On the night Brook won his first NBA title with the Bucks, Robin tweeted about watching the "Paddington" movies instead.

Robin was also throwing parties at Brook's new house at Walt Disney World during the 2021 playoffs - before his brother even had a chance to move in.

In 2021, Robin ignored his brother during pregame warmups in Washington.

And in the 2015-16 season, when Robin was playing for the New York Knicks and Brook was still a Brooklyn Net, the brothers refused to live together because their cats wouldn't get along. Yes, even the Lopez twin cats are feuding.

Robin told the New York Post that Brook's cat Poupin bullied his cat, Prince Edward Zephyr. "Brook’s cat is very two-faced,” Robin said. “Everybody loves Brook’s cat. To everybody’s face, he’s such a nice cat. And it may sound like I’m joking, but I am dead serious. He acts like a lazy, sweet cat when everybody is looking. But when their heads turn, he’ll try to chase after [my cat] Edward. The second I lay eyes on him, he’ll act like, ‘I’m a cherub. I’m innocent.’ I’m not buying it.”

Brook had 14 points and six rebounds, while Robin didn't get into the game at all, but his team won, 114-106. We are sure both twins will claim that they prevailed in the latest chapter in the never-ending Lopez Brothers battle.
