Anthony Davis and the Dallas Mavericks were coming off an emotional night at American Airlines Center, falling to the Los Angeles Lakers in Luka Doncic's return to Dallas.
On Friday night, Davis and the Mavericks ended a three-game drought, defeating the Toronto Raptors 124-102 in their penultimate regular season game.
Davis, seeing just 30 minutes and 28 seconds of action, finished with 23 points on 10-of-18 shooting, 13 rebounds, 10 assists and seven blocks—a near quadruple-double for AD.
With 10:45 left in the first, 40 seconds before Davis checked out for the final time, Davis picked up his final stat of the night: an assist to Dereck Lively for a dunk.
In doing so, Davis has become the first player in NBA history to record this stat line in under 30 minutes, per MavsMuse on X.
"Anthony Davis just became the 1st player in HISTORY to record at least 23/13/9 & 7 blocks in under 30 minutes. Special."

After Doncic's return to Dallas, Davis, who was a part of the big trade in early February, revealed his message to the Lakers star after a 45-point performance from Doncic.
"Both of us were caught off [guard], surprised by [the trade]," Davis said. "But that was two months ago. It happened. There's nothing we can do about it now. Just told him, 'Good game.' He played a hell of a game. Just a respect thing."
Despite missing 1.5 months with an injury, Davis has found success in his nine games with the Mavericks, recording a 6-3 record. The Mavs (39-42) will have one game left in the regular season, facing the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.
