Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis responded to a motorcycle crash involving his personal security guard on Saturday, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
Davis' security guard was riding a motorcycle at the time of the crash and needed to be taken to a hospital for observation. There is optimism that any injuries he suffered were minor, ESPN adds.
According to TMZ Sports, Davis spoke with police officers before leaving the scene.
The eight-time All-Star hasn't played for the Lakers since February 14. He is still dealing with Achilles tendinosis and a calf strain. It's unclear when he might return to the court.
Davis is averaging 22.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and three assists per game while shooting 53.3% from the field and 29.3% from deep.
