Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards checked himself out early in the first quarter of Friday night’s game against the Grizzlies in Memphis, and the team listed him as questionable to return with a right hip pointer.
Edwards originally injured his hip when he took a hard fall against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Nov. 28 but made his return on Wednesday and scored 17 points in a victory over the San Antonio Spurs.
After the game, Edwards said he was a "little scared and nervous" initially while playing through the injury but that his hip loosened up during the second half.
Edwards quickly went to the locker room after his first-quarter exit and was not seen courtside after the Timberwolves ruled him as questionable.
Mike Conley also briefly exited during the first half and went to the locker room but quickly returned.
