The Minnesota Timberwolves went down 0-2 to the Oklahoma City Thunder following their 118-103 loss on Thursday night.

Despite dropping their second-straight game of the series and having an uphill battle ahead to keep the season alive, Minnesota's superstar guard, Anthony Edwards, continues to make history.

A floater by Edwards in the third quarter of Thursday's Game 2 made him the Timberwolves' all-time postseason leading scorer, surpassing Hall of Fame forward/center Kevin Garnett.

The 23-year-old scored 32 points on 12/26 from the field and 1/9 from three. He is 4/17 from behind the arc through the first two games against Oklahoma City.

He is now up to 1,065 total career playoff points and has done so in 39 games through four different postseasons since 2022.

Garnett scored 1,049 postseason points for Minnesota in 47 games played. The next three franchise postseason scoring leaders for the Timberwolves are Karl-Anthony Towns (603 points in 32 games), Wally Szczerbiak (369 points in 29 games), and Latrell Sprewell (357 points in 18 games).

While he is just in his fifth NBA season, Edwards has already solidified himself as one of the greatest players in team history.

Through two games, the Thunder have dominated and are separating themselves from the Timberwolves. Edwards will look to regain momentum for his team as they near potential elimination.

The series will now head to Minnesota as they trail Oklahoma City by two games. Game 3 will be played on Saturday, May 24 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
