Anthony Edwards helped lead the Minnesota Timberwolves on an unlikely run through the NBA playoffs, taking out the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors before running into a buzzsaw that was the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Thunder dispatched Edwards and the Timberwovles in five games, including a 124-94 blowout in Wednesday's decisive Game 5. Edwards struggled over the final two games of the series, making just two of his 12 3-point attempts.
Edwards also faced some criticism for his attitude, both on and off the court. Speaking on FS1, Chris Broussard said he believes Edwards is not mature enough to lead his team to a title -- and no other player his age would be, either.
"He is too young and immature to lead a team to a championship right now. He just is," Broussard said. "This is not ripping Ant, in the history of the NBA, there has not been a guy 23 or younger to ever lead a team to a championship unless they had a hall of fame legend with them."

Broussard added that he knows Edwards is a hard worker and will do what it takes to keep the Timberwolves in contention for a title, and Edwards said as much after Wednesday's loss.
"I'm going to work my butt off this summer," Edwards said, via ESPN. "Nobody's going to work harder than me this summer. I'll tell you that much."
