Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves collapsed against the New York Knicks, and their reaction throughout the game was an eye-opener.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have started the season right down the middle, putting up a 4-4 record in their first eight games of the NBA season.
One of their biggest weaknesses this season has been how many points they’re giving up. The Minnesota Timberwolves have several defensive issues.
The Timberwolves lost a disappointing fixture to the Knicks in their most recent outing. At one point, the Timberwolves were up by 9 points in the game.
However, as the game went on, the Timberwolves lost their grip on the game. And this journey from excitement to frustration was captured perfectly by a fan sitting courtside.
The Minnesota Timberwolves had to face the New York Knicks in their last fixture. When they once held the lead, the Timberwolves were jubilant.
But as the game went on, the Timberwolves lost momentum, and the Knicks came back. And this visual frustration could be seen as the game went on.
Anthony Edwards could be seen yelling at the team to play harder, showing how frustrated he was with the team’s effort.
“Play harder man”

The Timberwolves losing their heads when they were facing pressure from the Knicks is a big sign of what is wrong with this team.
The Timberwolves aren’t able to keep their composure when rival teams start gathering momentum and end up collapsing under the pressure.
This is the same thing that happened to them in their game against the Lakers, when they fought back to tie and eventually take the lead, only for Austin Reaves to scramble their defense and make a game-winner.
Anthony Edwards made his return to the Timberwolves during the game against the Knicks. His first outing wasn’t very strong, as he scored just 15 points on 5-13 shooting.
Edwards will get his momentum back as he gets more games under his belt. But what else can the Timberwolves do to address their concerns?
A human highlight reel.

It appears they are testing the water, as the Timberwolves have shown interest in Ja Morant, who might be looking to leave the Grizzlies.
Zach Lowe suggested the Timberwolves trade for Trae Young and Kristaps Porzingis, as it can help them reduce the burden that Edwards is facing.
Whatever the case may be, there is a need for change in Minnesota, and that need will only grow stronger if they don’t fix their issues any time soon.
