LeBron James turned in a vintage performance on Friday night as he went off in the Los Angeles Lakers' Game 3 matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The NBA's all-time leading scorer finished with a game-high 38 points on 13-of-21 shooting, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks and five triples in 41 minutes of action.
It still wasn't enough, though, as Minnesota secured a 116-104 win at Target Center to take a 2-1 series lead.
Anthony Edwards went toe-to-toe against James in this one, and the Timberwolves superstar got 100% real about what it was like battling the four-time NBA champion.
"He was incredible," Edwards told reporters after the game. "He did everything he could in his power to try to win. He was shooting it from Yucatan. Yeah, for sure. He was shooting it crazy, for sure."
Edwards singled out one play in particular that pretty much left him in disbelief.
"He caught one of them in transition, and I was kind of closing out, and I'm like, 'He's not about to shoot this.' And he launched. I'm not going to lie. It was fun to watch him (and) be competing against him today for sure."

Edwards wasn't bad himself, dropping 29 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, two steals, a block and five treys.
This was a massive win for the Wolves, who were able to defend their home court in their first playoff game in Minnesota this season. They will now be looking to go up 3-1 in this opening-round series on Sunday in Game 4.
