Fresh off of averaging a career-high 27.6 points per game on 39% shooting from deep last season, NBA superstar Anthony Edwards hopped on a plane to China this summer to promote his latest signature shoe with adidas.

Last year, Edwards' AE1 took the league by storm with fresh ad campaigns and signature on-court performances from the all-world guard on the way to Minnesota's second consecutive appearance in the Western Conference Finals.

Ant-Man has also received back-to-back second-team All-NBA honors and top-7 finishes on the league's MVP ballot. But if there's anything the 24-year-old has proven since being drafted first overall out of the University of Georgia, it's that he's always going to be himself.

'WHAT’S HANNIN?!'

Edwards touched down in China to an incredible amount of love as the AE Tour kicked off with the launch of his highly-anticipated adidas silhouette.

When asked by the host what he'd like to say to his fans overseas, Edwards did so in the most Ant fashion possible.

"NI HAO WHAT'S HANNIN?!" the All-NBA guard exclaimed (via Bleacher Report).

Folks were absolutely loving it online.

Edwards goes viral

"This is the funniest man alive " a user cried.

" man i’m crying," T'Wolves teammate Bones Hyland replied.

"Bro just gave the meme world so much potential," a fan pointed out.

"Giving me some Chris Tucker in Rush Hour vibes " another person laughed.

"Never media train Ant pleasee," another user begged.

"How can you not love Ant man? "

A budding rivalry

After falling to the eventual champion OKC Thunder in five games last postseason, the NBA appears to putting a lot of stock into more matchups between the WCF opponents in 2025.

OKC and Minnesota will face off four times next year — all of which will be broadcast on national TV — the first of which will take place in group stage play during the NBA's In-Season Tournament.

With last season's MVP performance from start to finish, Shai Gilgeous- Alexander cemented himself as one of the league's best. Now it's on Ant and others to try and take his crown when the sport tips back off this October.
