Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards proved exactly why he's considered a superstar in the NBA right now.

The 23-year-old led the club to the Western Conference Finals for a second-straight season. After a career-best regular season performance, Edwards averaged 25.3 points per contest.

Edwards and the Timberwolves knocked off the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors before running into the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Shai Gilgeous-Alexander-led Thunder proved to be a buzzsaw, taking down the Timberwolves in just five games.

With contributions from everyone on Oklahoma City's squad, the Timberwolves didn't stand much of a chance in Game 5. Edwards scored just 19 points on 7-of-18 shooting.

The Thunder won the contest by 30 points with a final score of 124-94, punching their first NBA Finals ticket since 2012.

The Timberwolves got down by a large margin early in the game, and the Thunder never looked back. With a blowout in place, an old video of Edwards resurfaced.

In 2022, Edwards shared a video of the Phoenix Suns having just 30 points in the third quarter while getting blown out by the Dallas Mavericks, making fun of them for not showing up.

As Edwards and the Timberwolves suffered a similar feat on Wednesday, that video resurfaced.

"This is a disgrace, bruh. Y'all got 30 points in the 3rd quarter," Edwards said in the video.

Minnesota had 32 points at halftime against the Thunder in an elimination game. That was a disgrace, too.

Now, the Thunder advances to the NBA Finals, where they will face either the Indiana Pacers or New York Knicks (though likely the Pacers), where they will be a heavy favorite to win their first title in franchise history.
