Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young felt the need to respond to Marcus Morris’ lazy take about him and the NBA guards today.

Morris argued on ESPN’s First Take that point guards like Tyrese Haliburton are becoming extinct, but Kendrick Perkins brought up Young. The former Cleveland Cavaliers forward then said that Young “just started” passing the ball recently.

Trae Young is a good player. He was shooting 3-pointers; he wasn’t a point guard. He just started passing the ball, he was shooting 40-foot 3-pointers,” Morris said.
