Ayesha Curry’s Gesture Towards Steph Curry Draws Attention
Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Stephen Curry’s basketball legacy is firmly established. He is a two-time NBA MVP, a four-time NBA champion and the league’s all-time leader in three-pointers made. Long before his NBA success, however, Curry’s rise began at Davidson College, where he became one of the most productive scorers in school history and led the Wildcats to an unexpected Elite Eight run in the 2008 NCAA Tournament.

Curry recently returned to Davidson as the school and local officials honored him by renaming the Interstate 77 off-ramp that leads directly to campus.

Exit 30 is now officially known as the Stephen Curry Interchange, recognizing the impact he has had on the program and the surrounding community.

Curry was present for the ceremony and later attended the Davidson game in which the recognition took place.

While the Golden State Warriors star received the honor, his wife, Ayesha Curry, was also in attendance and caught many eyes for her choice of dressing.

Cameras caught the mother of four wearing Curry’s Davidson college jersey, a show of support for Curry’s college roots. The gesture drew positive reactions from fans, who praised Ayesha for her decision.

“That kind of support never goes out of style love seeing pride and loyalty come full circle like that,” one fan wrote.

“Gotta rep!” another fan added.

“A+ wife move,” a fan posted.

“What a beautiful couple!❤️❤️,” another remarked.

“She is definitely stunning ,” said one fan.

“That's awesome! Ayesha is always supporting Steph's roots in the best ways,” another fan mentioned.

The Currys have been married since 2011 and have remained a constant presence in each other’s careers. Ayesha has regularly supported Curry at games, award ceremonies and community events, while Curry has credited his family for helping him stay grounded throughout his 17-year NBA career.

Curry now turns his attention back to the court, with Golden State set to face the Charlotte Hornets on New Year’s Eve, as he continues another season at the center of the Warriors’ plans.
