Panthers saw the sweater and posted first

Bam clapped back and brought the receipt

Adebayo answered directly, and he made it clear the joke crossed a line for him.

“@FlaPanthers don’t ever disrespect my loyalty,” Adebayo posted. He also shared a video while holding up a Panthers jersey in a bag.

Then he explained why he did not wear Panthers gear inside T-Mobile Arena.

“So we just went to a Knights game,” Adebayo said in the video. “I just want everybody to know, it’s still… I just couldn’t wear it in there ’cause I was with somebody, but y’all know what it is.”

Panthers backed off and stamped approval

After the jersey reveal, the Panthers flipped from teasing to co-signing. So the moment turned from debate to running gag.
