Ben Affleck has shared a story that perfectly captures the unpredictable chaos of sitting courtside at an NBA game.

The actor and filmmaker was recalling a night out with his son during a Los Angeles Lakers matchup when an unexpected moment involving Luka Doncic turned their evening into one to remember.

Affleck told the story during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, laughing as he described how things went from exciting to awkward within seconds.

“I went to a Lakers game with my son last year. It was Luka’s… I think it was one of the first or second games that he was playing after the trade,” he said.

“He [Luka Doncic] was coming to the stands, knocking the guys next to me… spilled all of his beer on me.

“He was positioned in a way towards me where his big, main, least attractive part was right in my face. I think they got some photos of that. My son loved it.”

Affleck joked about the incident as the audience burst into laughter, saying that the combination of spilled drinks and awkward positioning made it one of the funniest moments he has ever had at a sporting event.
