On Saturday evening, the Brooklyn Nets faced off against the Philadelphia 76ers in Pennsylvania.
There is always a hostile crowd when Ben Simmons returns to the Wells Fargo Center, but the Nets were able to come away with a 136-121 victory.
The three-time NBA All-Star played 14 minutes, and while he didn't score (or attempt a shot), he grabbed nine rebounds and dished out five assists.

After the game, Simmons met with the media and was asked about the crowd (h/t House of Highlights).
Simmons: "It's funny to me. I've got grown men pissed off and yelling at me. I go home after this. Get the win; for me, I'm all about winning. Come here and do our job, and get to go home. It's fun, I enjoy that. It's not that deep. It's sports, but it comes with it, so I enjoy it."
Simmons has played in eight games so far this season and is averaging 6.1 points, 10.2 rebounds and 7.0 assists per contest while shooting 58.5% from the field.
At one point, he was seen as a future superstar, and he helped lead the 76ers to the NBA playoffs in each of his first four seasons.
This is his second season playing for Brooklyn.
The Nets are currently the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 20-28 record in their first 48 games.
They are 4-6 over their last ten games and 8-15 in 23 games on the road.
Following the 76ers, the Nets will host the Golden State Warriors on Monday evening at Barclays Center.
